The Quiet Offseason, v2
The Quiet Offseason » Devlog
Hey all! I was able to play a round of The Quiet Offseason earlier tonight, and it revealed some flaws in my writing. A complete changelog is listed below, but the important thing is that yes, I did change the Oracle tables, so you'll need to download the new version (on the web page, and also attached).
Changelog:
- Clarified language in the introduction some.
- Added example qualities to use for the Foundation and Aspirations.
- Added example situations, conversations, and projects themed for The Quiet Offseason.
- Clarified how timing projects should work for The Quiet Offseason, given the oddities of time.
- Added a new Pacing section, to replace the one in The Quiet Year, which explains what the Oracle tables are intended to do.
- Replaced the Night-phase "How can you see your team's Foundation expressed?" with "Where does the community gather regularly?"
- Clarified that the Afternoon-phase Jack does not shift control over who resolves the project, even if it accelerates to completion.
- Added a description to the Afternoon-phase Jack of what to do if there are no projects.
