Of Fish and Blades

Of Fish and Blades is a storytelling game inspired by Everyone is John, Turn of the Card, Belonging Outside Belonging, and French tarot. In it, you and your friends take control of a Fish—trusty knife (somehow) at their side—and the Fates Conspiring Against Them as you struggle to complete your Quest. Using a tarot deck, a double handful of tokens, and a few index cards, go head to head or hand in hand in this unique RPG. With three pages of rules and one prompt sheet, you'll be playing in no time!

This RPG is extremely rules-lite, and intended for players who are looking for story prompts and an interesting conflict resolution mechanism based on trick-taking card games, rather than a particularly involved set of mechanics. If you want to tell stories with your friends by letting your ideas clash against each other, this is the game for you!
